“Ain’t nobody gonna say no to Dylan” – Danny Brown on his appearance in the new interactive video for Bob Dylan’s seminal folk tune Like A Rolling Stone (aka the greatest song of all time according to Rolling Stone mag). 48 years after the song was released, this first official clip was worth the wait.

You get to curate your viewing experience to the song, selecting from 16 channels with people in different contexts lip-syncing the words of the song – news broadcasts to ShopTV, game shows, reality shows, a rom com, fashion channel, History Channel, even a tennis match. The album coincides the release of Dylan’s new box set, The Complete Album Selection Vol. 1.

Our favourite would have to be Danny Brown, becuase a) it’s Danny Brown and b) he’s wielding an array of snacks in each frame.

“I had to listen to that song a fucking lot to learn the lyrics,” he says. “Listening to that song over and over gave me a whole new perspective to what he was doing at that time.” (Read more about it over at Rolling Stone Mag)

Watch the clip HERE. You can find Danny in all his on Channel 122, ‘Music 1 Bass’.

Bob Dylan – Like a Rolling Stone

Once upon a time you dressed so fine
You threw the bums a dime in your prime, didn’t you?

CORN DOG

People’d call, say, “Beware doll, you’re bound to fall”
You thought they were all kiddin’ you

BAGEL

You used to laugh about
Everybody that was hangin’ out

SUSHI

Now you don’t talk so loud
Now you don’t seem so proud
About having to be scrounging for your next meal.

BURITTO

How does it feel
How does it feel
To be without a home

PIZZA

Like a complete unknown
Like a rolling stone?

GYRO

You’ve gone to the finest school all right, Miss Lonely
But you know you only used to get juiced in it

CREAM THING? TWINKIE?

And nobody has ever taught you how to live on the street
And now you find out you’re gonna have to get used to it

SOME KIND OF HOT CHIPS

You said you’d never compromise
With the mystery tramp, but know you realize

HOTDOG

He’s not selling any alibis
As you stare into the vacuum of his eyes
And say do you want to make a deal?

SOFT SERVE

How does it feel
How does it feel
To be on your own
With no direction home
Like a complete unknown
Like a rolling stone?

POPCORN

Princess on the steeple and all the pretty people
They’re drinkin’, thinkin’ that they got it made

POPTART?

Exchanging all kinds of precious gifts and things
But you’d better lift your diamond ring, you’d better pawn it babe
You used to be so amused
At Napoleon in rags and the language that he used

DONUT

Go to him now, he calls you, you can’t refuse
When you ain’t got nothing, you got nothing to lose
You’re invisible now, you got no secrets to conceal.

FRIED CHICKEN

How does it feel
How does it feel
To be on your own
With no direction home
Like a complete unknown
