Some surprisingly delicious (and healthy) iridescent green gruel we brewed up for Halloween.
Matcha Porridge with Berries
- 1/2 cup oats
- 1 teaspoon matcha (or more or less as per your taste preference, it can be bitter)
- black sesame seeds or chia seeds
Add oats with 1 cup water to a small saucepan. Set aside for 10 minutes to swell. Add salt, milk of your choice, and turn heat onto low. Cook porridge for a few minutes, stirring, until thick and hot. Add a little more water or milk if necessary.
